Everything was back where it belongs during Sunday mass, the candle was shining bright, the altar was back, the flowers were beautiful and Jesus has risen...
On Friday, the candle was out, the church tabernacle was opened and empty, the altar was gone, it was dark in the church and the lights were out for the last five minutes of the hour and an half liturgy....it is, by all accounts, the saddest time of the church year.
