Silent Sermon Sunday

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

These three men are sons, brothers, husbands, lovers, fathers, friends...

These three men are Pittsburgh Police Officers who were shot down yesterday in the line of duty. Honor them for their service and sacrifice. Pray for those who love and lost them, yesterday.

Namaste' Till Next Time,
Holly

More dead young wonderful guys ... I haven't recovered, yet, from the 3 guys lost at sea, or the Oakland cops who were slaughtered, or ... but I want them ALL in my heart, these three also ...

Thank you for this...I have been struggling with it since I heard Saturday. It really helps to see their faces. Things like this have weighed so heavily on my soul since 9/11. When I went to ground zero to pay my respects it was awful for me...all I wanted to do was read their names over and over again in some desparate attempt to memorize them...so that someone, somewhere would remember them. :o/

Dear Holly,
I was forwarded the link to your blog by another blog friend Donna. I too live here in Pittsburgh and have been touched and saddened by this tragedy. I wrote about this senseless act on my blog as well. My heart is broken for these families. Thanks for posting about it on your blog as well.
Fondly,
Mimi~
