Not A Thought...
...in my head this morning. Not a one. I happened to find these in my garden over the weekend. And that first one reminded me of tie-dye. Then I was reminded of how cool it is to be able to take my own pictures. Of what ever I feel like.
But a thought to share? Umm, they all fell out of my head overnight. I'm sure when I make the bed, I'll find them laying around on the mattress. I'll scoop them up. Try to put them back where they belong. Just know, I don't plan to make the bed for quite a few more hours, though. So best not to wait...
Instead, you'll just have to look at these and make up a story or a thought for yourself. Leave it for everyone else to consider in the comments.
Please, you'll be doing us all a favor. And remember, sometimes the best tales are the ones we don't think are important enough to share.
Now, go discuss, talk amongst yourselves...what did you come up with?!
Namaste' Till Next Time,
Holly

On a Monday morning it's enough to just Bee!
Bee colorful and vibrant throughout your day!

Aaah, Your Hollyness - let's take our cue from William Henry Davies:
'What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.'
Don't you worry about bed making and thought scooping...we are happy just to be here, Holly, and to gaze at your lovely photos.
I'd share a thought, but there's not a one in my head, either - they may have trickled out in my sleep and puddled on the pillow...but more likely they were never there to begin with.
Lovely floweres, ma'am.
Shade and Sweetwater,
K
SAME HERE!! I opened my mind and moths flew out. So instead, I posted about meeting my blog friends Jim and Garret tomorrow! How cool is it to meet new friends online and actually get to meet them.
Any plans to visit Florida Hol?
For the first photo: If things could grow on the sun, this is how I imagine the sun would look.
Beautiful photos!

Here's a thought:
WHY should you have such an amazing eye and photographic ability when you already are a prolific and talented writer?
or as Dave Chappelle put it
"I'd like to thank God for giving others (Holly) so much, and me so little."
Too much talent for one woman! Not fair.
How do you take those close ups? They're great!
Your gift of writing makes me laugh, my thoughts so often stay in bed and I forget them when I wake up. (I know, leave a pen & book by your bed, but when I wake up in the middle of the night I just want to go back to sleep!)
I like the yellow picture best...its so..... yellowy......and buttery......and makes me want to sink my face in it... right down to the bee.
LOVE that first picture Holly! and the new blog background is perfect!
As to my Mom being way too cool as you thought-I'll have to let you in on a little secret. Dad helps do the beet canning. Bein' a farm boy he knows how to harvest and put away for winter. Mom is ok with it but probably would not do it if it was her havin' to do it alone.
Just a little FYI.
Chester ;0=)
Gosh, everyone has such lovely comments so this will sound really crazy-- But the first thing I thought of was about the old Roddy McDowell movie where he swallowed a bee and died... Do you remember it? Some big Hollywood Dame lured him into the greenhouse and got him talking til a bee flew into his mouth, and then she turned on her heels, walked out and left him there....
I'm guessing, my dear Holly, that's not the kind of story you had in mind.... Sorry, it's one of those days were I SHOULD HAVE NOTHING in my mind :-)
Love the pics and YOU. xo
holly ,breathtaking beauties to welcome me after a long weekend away from the internet.Filled me with freshness to start the day on a happy note

sometimes, I have the best blog posts in my head during the night.. fantastic thoughts, profound and deep, funny or just about my life.. and of course, I don't write them down.. they have spilled from my head too.. must check under the bed... did you find yours? but you know.. sometimes, I think they travel through the ether to someone else who does take time to write them down during the night.. cause I can be wandering through blog land and there is my post on someone elses blog... how do you explain that?? I have no idea.. a collective conciousness perhaps?
