Are You Listening?

For those of you who have been visiting Your Mother Knows for any length of time, you know that I am often asked by Spirit to be the messenger to someone or many of you. I don't know who this message is for, but I know you know who you are. I generally never understand the complete context of the message because, let's be frank, I'm just the messenger. Although I admit that what gets said to you is often something of which I need to be reminded.

Last night it started, the inner quiet that proceeds the message and the quiet whispering of words...and this time I was told to say, "They have stopped listening. They question what they know is correct. Tell them to listen and believe. Tell them to trust their intuition." So ends the message.

But, just as it often happens, I keep getting continual reminders of the key part and so I slammed into the word, 'intuition' several times including a little known song by Hall & Oates called simply, "Intuition".

This morning, Rumi's words flew at me, "Sell your cleverness and buy bewilderment." That's what we do when we listen to our intuition and stop waiting to 'know' something. Stop thinking and start feeling. Go with your feelings. Your head isn't serving you in this case. Trust what your center is sharing with you. Stop analyzing and stalling. You're sitting there thinking you shouldn't act until you have more facts. There are no more facts to be had! Trust your instincts.

The early Christians separated the perfect knowledge of God and the Angels from the knowledge we Human's acquire. And, as they were want to do, they believed our knowledge ability to be inferior since they inaccurately perceived Humans as flawed. In their way of seeing things, God and angels know directly (intuitively) what men reach by reasoning.

The problem is that you have to move now...no more time for reasoning. Remember the truth of you, which is that you are a divine part of Spirit and know all you need to know. Because, as that divine part of Spirit, you already know what Spirit knows. You simply must have faith enough and LISTEN. Do not be afraid.

So, to get you in the groove of listening, let's jam to another reminder of intuition I got this morning. This, this is the song that I woke up to this morning...playing in my head. I figure if I can hear it, you should too! Here's Jewel singing, what else? You know it, Intuition! Are you listening?

I also was so moved by this morning's Daily Faith message ... seems your muse was on the same page. Staying attuned to all the little bewilderments of my day.

Thank you for the message...

Shade and Sweetwater,
K (who is happy to be reminded that she KNOWS, if she'll suspend credulity and LISTEN)

Hello beautiful Holly,
this quote comes to mind...

"beleive nothing no matter where you read it or who has said it,not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense"
~BUDDHA~

best wishes

Hi Holly,
Interesting....
Check out my post for the full moon ritual (I'm one in the group of Robyn's earth healers. Robyn in Australia who just harvested her lemons).
It's the word "listen" that kept coming into my head as I posted. Coincidence? I don't think so.
Thanks for sharing your inner wisdom. Will check out Hall & Oates song, I don't remember that one.
Love & Light

The difference between science and real life are our instincts. Great post, Holly and a very good reminder!

Oh, thank you for this. I needed a reminder like this. Not sure if it was intended for me, but could well apply at the moment.
And you have expressed it so beautifully.
It's the extra lines about trusting what you feel, trusting your instincts ~ and the quote from Rumi that got me. That felt a bit like a sign (given my last post). What you think?
I can't write much at the moment because I can't hear Her words. I'm not listening. I'm busy trying to sort out my material world. Feeling bit angry with Spirit for what I perceive as neglect of my upkeep (yet I know it's not that way at all).
So thank you again. Thank you, Dear Crone.

I most definitely am and will be listening! Cause what you have to say is very important. Not just for one, but for all.

We stray from our inner self, we block it out, call it "silly" but it is never wrong. :)

I think that message could be for many of us... count me as one!!..
I use to have those whispering voices... until I blocked them out.. I thought I was mad, insane.. now I struggle with trying to awaken them, to listen, to trust.. to have faith in my inner wisdom.
But it is all a journey and I will chip away, stumble and pick myself up, til oneday I will accept & believe!
lots of synchronicity here Holly!! like a smack up the back of the head from Intuition - is that inner tuition? :) inner teachings?
